We would rather show you nothing than show you a number nobody measured. An uptime figure that is typed into a page instead of collected by a probe tells you only that somebody typed it, and you have no way to tell a working service from a broken one by reading it.
If something looks wrong with your bridge right now, the fastest answer is your own dashboard: it reads directly from the engine and shows an em dash rather than a stale value whenever it cannot reach it.
